He is a veteran with military experience spanning nuclear engineering aboard submarines, civil engineering in the Air Force Reserve, and network engineering and information security in the Air National Guard. Across those roles, Stephen worked in environments where reliability, documentation, and failure tolerance were non‑negotiable — experience that now informs every system he designs and supports.
In addition to his military background, Stephen has worked as a field test engineer with electrical engineering firms including Emerson Network Power, Vertiv, and MTAEE, supporting and validating critical power and infrastructure systems in real‑world conditions. He is also licensed by the FCC as an amateur radio operator, with practical experience in RF communications, signal propagation, and emergency communications. Today, Stephen applies this broad engineering and security background to provide hands‑on, local IT services for homes, ranches, and small businesses throughout the Texas Hill Country — delivering solutions that are practical, resilient, and designed to work where off‑the‑shelf approaches often fail.
